ਵਾਰਿਸ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਨਿਊਜੀਲੈਂਡ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜੂਨ ਚੁਰਾਸੀ ਦੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਕਤਲੇਆਮ ਦੀ ਯਾਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਕਲਗ਼ੀਧਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਟਾਕਾਨੀਕੀ ਵਿਖੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਵਿਤਾ,ਕਵੀਸ਼ਰੀ, ਭਾਸ਼ਨ ਲਈ ਖੁੱਲੀ ਸਟੇਜ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ, ਸੰਗਤ ਤੱਕ ਪੁਸਤਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਨੂੰ ਆਸਾਨ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨੀ ਤੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਸਤਾਰ ਸਿਖਲਾਈ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਕੈਂਪ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਸਿੱਖ ਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਖੁੱਸ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਕੌਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਤੇ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਨਸਲਕੁਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨੀ ਵੀ ਲਾਈ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਸਫਲ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਪਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਤਹਿ ਦਿਲੋਂ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ।
Waris Punjab De NZ team organised an event in remembrance of June 1984 Sikh Genocide at Takanini Gurdwara Sri Kalgidhar Sahib
In this event, there was an open mic session, 1849-1995 and current genocides exhibition Khalsa Foundation, New Zealand Sikh Youth, library book stall, dastaar sikhlayi sewa (@turbancrew), kawishri, children colouring competition and registration for new members to join WPD and take sewa.
